Articles are mostly not about how to do things.  They are mainly about what I’ve done, and sometimes how I did it.

I usually list the main tools and equipment i’ve used as well as the main items used in the build (if it’s a build).  Most of the equipment I’ve had for many years.  I’ve bought all of it.  Some of it I even like.  Like most, I settled on a battery ecosystem (Makita).  I am not endorsing any of the equipment I list.  It is simply what I have and use.
